*# of games indicates number of games reviewed in this quarter (Q3 2008)

“We are proud to present our new methodology of showing which mobile games publishers are top ranked. ”, says Matej Gause, Content Director of MobileGamesDb.com portal, “The rules that we apply is, that each developer has to have at least 5 reviewed games each quarter with a minimum of 70% average, or 10 or more reviewed games in general in that quarter.”

Two companies completely missed the TOP10 this quarter and leave the TOP10 ranking. These companies are Vivendi Games Mobile and Real Networks (Mr. Goodliving), both not submitted for too few reviews on the market.

“We are glad to show that quality on the market matters, and that developers focus on it more and more! A big surprise this quarter is definitely Handy-Games, giving a jump from 10th position to 2nd place.“, added Gause.

MobileGamesDb aggregated reviews from PocketGamer, AirGamer, Midlet-review, ProjectNext, and MobilGamer. In the next quarter, more review sources will be added to the portal. Developer will receive individual notifications.
